Goal50 has always existed to give hope and opportunity to the people of the Cape Flats. Communities can be dominated by violence and crime. 80% unemployment and the absence of fathers make the townships a difficult place in which to live. Drug use stands at about 80% of the adult population. The charity is committed to giving individuals self-worth and a sense of value and identity in their community.
